Village Friends is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving the Auburn/Opelika community. We provide a network of services and support to help seniors age independently in their homes.

OUR GOAL: We want to support aging in one’s own home and neighborhood, supported by a caring community. Join us in creating a Village!

Our Services Coordinator

Rebecca O'Kelly is our part-time Services Coordinator. She has been with Village Friends since November 2021. Prior to that, she was a business consultant, and owned a custom renovations company in the Atlanta, GA area.

Among Rebecca's principal roles are responding to subscriber's requests for service, assigning all volunteer service tasks, assisting in maintaining a service task database, and creating a monthly newsletter. She can be reached at vfvvservices@gmail.com .

Our Office

We maintain an office in the Auburn United Methodist Church facility. The office is open on Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm or by appointment. For the most part however, our office is a "virtual" one, residing on the laptop computers and smart phones of our various administrators and our Services Coordinator.
