Your individual donation helps cover the budgetary costs of running our organization, from salaries and office supplies to outreach and social events that combat isolation. As the retiree and aging population grows in the Auburn/Opelika community, our need for staff and volunteers will grow as well. Help us care for those who have cared for us.

Many thanks for your support of Village Friends!

Corporate sponsorships further Village Friends' mission to serve aging adults in the Auburn-Opelika community. The senior and retiree population in our area is growing and will continue to do so as Auburn-Opelika becomes a preferred destination. The support of our mission by business entities allows us to provide transportation, social outings, technology help, and small home repairs as well as other services. For example, our transportation of members to medical appointments of all kinds is recognized for it's value to our healthcare community.

Four levels of recognition - Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze - are available to our sponsors: Our Supporters In return, sponsors receive recognition for their generosity on our website, social media, newsletter communications and social events.

Village Friends’ mission is to provide aging adults (Subscribers) with a support system allowing them to age in place in the home of their choosing. Importantly, Village Friends provides outings and events to counteract social isolation. Our mission improves life for families and enhances many aspects of life for older citizens.

Some citizens who could benefit from our services do not have the financial means to do so. Our Scholarship goal is to procure funding for the extension of services to Auburn and Opelika seniors who are underserved or cannot otherwise afford our minimal annual service fee.

$3,050.00 received toward our goal of $5,650.00

Local businesses often support Village Friends by helping to keep our overhead and expenses low. Arbor Lake, ABS Business Systems and Key Real Estate are local companies that support our Mission through donations of goods and services. Perhaps your business would like to join this effort in a substantial way other than a direct donation.

Assistance can be just a phone call or e-mail away!
